August 28, 2008 9 8/28 ATTENTION CLASS OF 2011: You will have a class meeting today at 3:15 to discuss our agenda for the year. 8/28 ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: The first FFA meeting will be held today in the cafeteria at 3:20. All interested are welcome to attend. 8/28 ATTENTION GIRLS: Any girl interested in playing Softball for the Lady Bulldogs should attend an organizational meeting today at 3:30 p.m. at the Softball Clubhouse. 8/28 STUDENTS: Anyone interested in joining the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club we are meeting today at 3:30 p.m. in Mrs. Goodman’s room 211. Come and check us out. 8/29 ATTENTION JUNIORS: Class of 2010, Presales of Class T-Shirts will be sold in the cafeteria today and Friday. T-Shirts will be $11.00. 8/29ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Meningitis can be caught by simply drinking after someone. The effects can be as bad as death. The nurse is offering a shot free of charge to any student wishing to protect themselves. Plus many colleges require this vaccine. Please make arrangements with our school nurse to get this vaccine. 8/29 ATTENTION STUDENTS: Yearbooks will be on sale next week during all lunches. The price will be $45.00. Personalization is extra. The price for yearbooks will increase throughout the year, so get yours at the discounted price. 8/29 FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS: The Sophomore Class will be selling sweet tea on Wednesday’s and Friday’s from 3:15 – 3:45 by the gym and in the courtyard by the front office. Price is $1.00 8/29 FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS: JROTC will be hosting a car wash to raise money at Bank of America from 9:00 am – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 30th. Thanks for your support. 9/2 ATTENTION SUB-DEBS: There will be a meeting Tuesday September 2nd at 6:30. All current members need to attend. 9/2 4-H COUNTY COUNCIL MEMBERS: There will be a meeting at 6:00 p.m. at the DeSoto County Extension Office, ( All 4-H club delegates to the Council are urged to attend and all 4-H members are welcome. 9/2 ALL BOYS: Any boys interested in playing basketball this year, there will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, September 2nd at 3:30 in room 803. 9/4- ATTENTION SENIORS: There will be a Senior Class meeting after school 3:10 September 4th in the Media Center. Come with float ideas, we will be picking our float theme at this meeting 9/4 STUDENTS: There will be an informal meeting for anyone Boy or Girl who is interested in playing soccer. It will be held September 9th immediately after school in the gym. If you are planning on playing this year you must be in attendance. 9/4 ATTENTION STUDENTS: Anyone interested in showing a market hog at the DeSoto county Fair must attend a mandatory meeting on Sept. 4th at the DeSoto County Fairgrounds at 6:00 p.m. 9/4 ATTENTION RETURNING RENNAISANCE STUDENT COMMITTEE MEMBERS: If you are a returning member and wish to remain on the committee, the first meeting will be on Thursday, Sept. 4th. Please plan to meet in room 301c from 3:20 – 3:45. 9/16 FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS: JROTC’S candy fundraising sale will begin this Friday, and continue until September 16th. |
